Duties include preparing clean linen and dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, and transporting dishware or linens across the hotel.
Responsibilities and standards
- Support cleaning needs across hotel departments.
- Prepare clean linen and dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, dryers, and cleaning tools.
- Transport dishware and linens across the hotel.
- Follow company policies, maintain a safe workplace, and uphold quality standards and professional presentation.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to a manager.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Qualifications and physical requirements
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is stated as necessary.
- No high school diploma or GED is stated as necessary; no license or certification is required.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
