Duties
- Meet the group coordinator/host before the event, make introductions and ensure all arrangements match the client's wishes.
- Read and analyze the banquet order to gather guest information and determine the appropriate room plan, timeline, guest needs, buffets and stations.
- Consider and implement all special banquet arrangements and follow up on special preparations to ensure guidelines are met.
- Follow and apply all chain safety policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, accident risks, accidents or injuries; complete training and obtain required safety certifications.
- Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Support colleagues, treat them with dignity and respect, and support the team in reaching common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs (11.3 kg) without assistance.
- Stand, sit or walk for an extended period or for an entire shift.
- Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines to identify defects.
Recommended Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related work experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory experience: None.
- License or certification: None.
