A dependable Steward is sought to keep kitchen, equipment, and catering-event service areas clean, organized, and hygienic.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas, floors, counters, storage areas, and equipment.
- Set up, clear, and clean buffet and service areas at catering events.
- Load, transport, and unload equipment, crockery, and supplies for off-site events.
- Sort and store deliveries and stock as directed.
- Dispose of waste properly and keep waste areas clean.
- Assist with basic food preparation when needed.
- Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment safely.
- Report damaged or missing equipment to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a steward, kitchen helper, or dishwasher in a restaurant, hotel, or catering company.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and late-night events.
- Good teamwork and discipline.
- English, Hindi, or Arabic is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay is up to AED 1,300 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
