  • Lead DevSecOps implementation for secrets management, compliance, auditing, IAM, and zero-trust networking.
  • Drive reliability, performance service levels, cost optimization, migrations, modernization, and observability.
  • Lead AI/ML platform infrastructure, including model serving, GPU orchestration, LLM gateways, vector stores, and AI/ML CI/CD.
  • Use AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor in daily work.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Partner with engineering, product, and leadership on platform strategy and business goals.
  • Communicate infrastructure decisions and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead design reviews, architecture discussions, and release readiness assessments.
  • Establish platform standards, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and evaluate emerging tools and technologies.

Required Experience

  • Seven or more years of professional DevOps or platform engineering experience, including complex platform initiative leadership.
  • Expert scripting, programming, Kubernetes, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code skills.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform and strong CI/CD architecture experience at scale.
  • Strong DevSecOps, networking, IAM, security architecture, zero-trust, service mesh, distributed systems, and microservices experience.
  • Strong AI/ML platform infrastructure experience covering model serving, GPU workloads, LLM gateways, vector stores, and AI/ML CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and expert day-to-day use of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.
  • Cloud certifications or FinOps experience are considered a plus.

Compensation

  • The stated compensation range is $103,000 to $143,000 CAD, with placement based on factors including qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, and business needs.
