Senior Delivery Manager

Position overview

Delivery leadership

• Owns scope, budget, schedule, and quality for complex, multi-phase engagements.
• Facilitates sprint planning, backlog refinement, and execution across cross-functional teams.
• Manages phased releases, production readiness, and transitions to operations and maintenance.
• Tracks delivery KPIs and manages dependencies, risks, scope changes, and escalations.
• Supports QA and UAT against agreed acceptance criteria.

AI enablement

• Implements the AI Development Life Cycle and models AI-augmented delivery practices for teams.
• Partners with AI product and engineering teams on observability, model risk, data readiness, evaluation, and delivery risks.
• Defines success metrics, delivery standards, and expectations for AI pipelines and AI-driven features.
• Assesses agentic approaches, including context, latency, infrastructure, and tradeoffs, and communicates when they are unsuitable.
• Coaches delivery colleagues on AI product delivery, AI-assisted traditional delivery, and agentic development processes.

Client and team leadership

• Serves as primary delivery contact and leads client working sessions, roadmap discussions, and delivery forums.
• Communicates progress, risks, tradeoffs, milestones, and business impact to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Identifies engagement expansion opportunities with Client Partners.
• Leads onshore and offshore teams, coaches junior delivery managers, improves practices, and contributes to staffing and hiring decisions.

Experience and delivery qualifications

• 5+ years in software delivery, technical project management, or engineering leadership.
• Strong agile delivery experience across complex multi-team engagements and distributed teams.
• Experience delivering complex, multi-platform digital systems and strong client-facing communication skills.
• Experience with delivery tooling such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and AI-enabled platforms.

AI delivery qualifications

• Demonstrated use of AI tools for delivery planning, reporting, or documentation.
• Has led an AI/ML or agentic engagement, managing model risk, evaluation, and client expectations.
• Can set AI-native delivery standards and coach delivery managers on evaluation, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and monitoring.
• Has led an agentic delivery process and set standards for observability, metrics, status visibility, infrastructure, context management, and latency tradeoffs.

Preferred qualifications

• PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience with consumer products and retail, education, energy, financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing is helpful.
• Enterprise agentic, AI co-worker, or applied AI delivery experience is helpful.
• Client-facing experience in engagement management, consulting, or account leadership is helpful.

Compensation

• The stated salary range is CAD $160,000 to $200,000; the posting does not specify a pay cadence.
