Role overview

Security operations and cloud

• Support daily security operations and the change lifecycle of critical security systems and services.
• Design and implement policy-aligned security controls for trading applications, identify gaps, and coordinate continuous improvement.
• Design, deploy, and manage security across multiple data centers and Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments.
• Integrate network security for multi-site and IaaS/PaaS deployments, particularly Microsoft Azure landing zones.
• Manage firewalls, reverse proxies, web application firewalls, load balancers, virtual patching, secure authentication, MFA, and sandboxing.
• Manage DNS, proxy, VPN, and DDoS services across cloud landing zones and on-premises data centers.
• Support incident response and evidence collection, identify abnormal activities, block indicators of compromise, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Maintain security appliance configuration, availability, lifecycle, and documentation, including high- and low-level designs and hardening documents.
• Provide specialist technical support and guidance to team members.

Experience and qualifications

• At least eight years of demonstrated IT network security operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience supporting trading organizations and their implementation, development, analysis, or production environments is an advantage.
• Strong project management, implementation, troubleshooting, multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong presentation skills and proficiency in written and spoken English.

Technical knowledge and certifications

• Understand IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS models, cloud architecture, hub-and-spoke design, high availability, fault tolerance, and threat vectors.
• CISSP, Security+, CCIE or CCNP Security, or equivalent proven experience, is an advantage.
• Azure or AWS security certification, or equivalent, is an advantage.
• Specialist network security systems certification and familiarity with standards such as ISO and NIST are noted.
