Senior software engineer role focused on scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React.js, microservices, and AWS.
The role operates in a hybrid work model and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java and Spring Boot backend services for complex enterprise requirements.
- Implement and maintain scalable microservices architectures.
- Build responsive and accessible React.js user interfaces.
- Integrate applications with AWS managed services for resilience, cost optimization, and secure data handling.
- Optimize performance through data access patterns, caching, and profiling.
- Refine requirements with product owners and business stakeholders and translate them into technical designs.
- Support automated testing, defect resolution, and quality engineering practices.
- Apply secure coding practices for authentication, authorization, data protection, and input validation.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment workflows.
- Review peer code and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Document solution designs, service contracts, and operational runbooks.
Qualifications
- Strong Java proficiency and several years of professional experience building production-grade backend systems.
- Deep hands-on Spring Boot experience covering configuration, dependency injection, security, and integrations.
- React.js competency covering component design, state management, and backend API integration.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices with RESTful or event-driven communication patterns.
- Working knowledge of AWS compute, storage, networking, and monitoring services.
- Working knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases, schemas, and queries.
- Experience with source control, build automation, and continuous integration tools.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical partners.
