Sr. Operator – Digital Machine (Prepress)
About This Role
. JOB OBJECTIVE: Monitor & execute the jobs received as per the planning & job order received. Allocate digital printing machine & plan to execute the job in time & with acceptable quality. Safekeeping of all digital files and prepare an extensive production report.
Day to Day Operations
Technical Skills
· Very well known to the criticality of digital machines
· Troubleshoot machine/job related issue.
· Performing minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance. Inform technical/supplier about the machine problem and keep a log.
Quality skills
· Print job as per given specification and quality
· Test raw material if needed before process the job
Reports and record
· Safeguard the files in server.
· Maintain production report for every click.
· Provide monthly data to management about the progress
Multi – skilling
· Follow the Supervisor/ In-charge for another task when required.
Continuous Improvement
· Motivate one’s own team and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practice and changes in the competitive environment.
Policies, Processes & Procedures
· Recommend improvements to company policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.
MIS & Reports
· Prepare MIS statements and reports pertaining to departmental needs to meet UPP’s and the departmental requirements, policies, and standards.
Related Assignments
· Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Graduation; Diploma/trade in printing technology
Minimum Experience:
· At least 5 -7 years’ experience Digital Print
