Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious **Forklift Operator** to join our Distribution and Logistic Services team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, and storing materials while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a safe working environment.
The role also involves supporting delivery operations, equipment inspections, and maintaining activity records.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned storage locations.
- Locate, move, and organize stock onto pallets or crates for storage and shipment.
- Transport raw materials and products to production or operational workstations.
- Inspect forklift equipment and machinery before operation to ensure safe working conditions.
- Identify damaged goods and report shortages, defects, or quality issues.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report repair requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs.
- Assist with loading and unloading activities related to delivery operations.
- Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within warehouse and storage areas.
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices.
Skills & Competencies
- Safe forklift operation.
- Inventory handling and stock management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in warehouse and distribution environments.
- Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,300.00 per month
Education
- Diploma (Preferred)
