Sr. Logistic Coordinator

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations for automotive trucks and related shipments.
• Prepare, verify, and manage customs documentation and other required import/export documents.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping agents, transporters, and other logistics partners.
• Ensure shipments comply with UAE customs and regulatory requirements.
• Track shipments and coordinate timely delivery of vehicles to their destinations.
• Manage invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, customs declarations, and related paperwork.
• Liaise with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and Operations to ensure smooth shipment processing.
• Monitor shipment status, identify potential delays, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate shipment, customs clearance, and logistics documentation records.
• Coordinate vehicle transportation, port handling, customs clearance, and final delivery.
• Resolve logistics and documentation issues and maintain relationships with logistics service providers.
• Complete logistics activities accurately, cost-effectively, and within required timelines, and prepare shipment status reports for management.

Required qualifications and skills

• 3–7 years of relevant logistics experience.
• UAE market experience is essential.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE customs procedures and documentation.
• Experience handling import/export documentation and customs clearance for vehicles.
• Good understanding of UAE ports, shipping, freight forwarding, and transportation processes.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with customs authorities, clearing agents, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Preferred experience

• Automotive truck or commercial vehicle business experience is preferred.
• Experience with commercial trucks, heavy vehicles, or automotive spare parts logistics is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE import regulations and vehicle clearance procedures is preferred.
