Senior .NET Developer role designing, building, and delivering high-quality, scalable enterprise SaaS applications.
Canada-based remote role with a contract duration of 6–12+ months and possible extension.
Development responsibilities
- Break complex problems into manageable parts, design clean solutions, and implement core frameworks.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services with C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Web API.
- Apply DDD and CQRS patterns to create modular, scalable systems.
- Design SQL Server databases, write stored procedures, optimize queries, and tune performance; use Entity Framework for ORM and data access.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable, documented code and own unit, integration, and performance testing in a shift-left, no-QA-team setup.
- Collaborate with product managers and teams to understand requirements and deliver customer-focused features.
- Use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and development speed.
Candidate requirements
- At least 5 years of enterprise or SaaS software development experience.
- Strong hands-on C#, .NET Core, Web API, and Angular or another frontend framework experience.
- Experience with Entity Framework (EF Core or EF6) and SQL Server queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, enterprise architecture, DDD, CQRS, and clean layering of business logic and data access.
- Familiarity with multithreading, asynchronous programming, system performance tuning, Git, CI/CD, and Agile.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills; written and verbal communication in English; experience across multiple teams or squads.
- Required active daily use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
Work arrangement
- The job is remote in Canada.
Contract duration
- Contract duration is 6–12+ months with possible extension.
