Contract Solution Architect role for a new enterprise ERP application built from scratch.
The architect will design a scalable, multi-tenant system integrated with the employer’s existing SaaS products.
The product will use a .NET/Angular codebase and shared platform services, including unified login, authentication, and core data routing.
The role partners with an AI-enabled engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Own high-level and low-level technical design for a new enterprise ERP application.
- Design robust, secure integrations between the ERP and the existing SaaS product portfolio.
- Use shared backend services such as identity/access management and data routing rather than rebuilding them.
- Define AWS architecture for availability, performance, and strict data isolation for multi-tenant enterprise clients.
- Work with the Engineering Manager and development team to establish technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET and C# and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions in AWS.
- Experience managing NuGet repositories and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise, multi-tenant SaaS systems; this is a strict must-have.
Candidate profile
- Portfolio of projects defining architecture for complex SaaS platforms from a blank slate.
- Adaptable, hands-on approach and pragmatic architectural decisions balancing speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and architecture that supports AI-driven development teams.
- Ability to communicate complex architectural trade-offs as business impacts to stakeholders.
Workplace and contract
- Remote in Canada.
- Contract for six or more months, with possible extension.
