Role overview
Design the technical architecture of a new ERP application built from scratch for a market-leading SaaS company.
The application will be a scalable, multi-tenant enterprise system integrated with the company's existing SaaS products.
The codebase will use .NET and Angular, with AWS infrastructure and shared platform services.
Location and contract
- The role is remote in Canada.
- The contract is for six or more months, with a possible extension.
Key responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for the new enterprise ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the ERP and the existing SaaS product portfolio.
- Make effective use of shared backend services such as unified login, authentication, and core data routing.
- Define AWS architecture for availability, performance, and multi-tenant data isolation.
- Work with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled engineering team to set technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions in AWS.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise multi-tenant SaaS systems is a strict must-have.
Candidate profile
- Must have a portfolio of projects defining complex SaaS platform architecture from a blank slate.
- Must bring an adaptable, hands-on startup mentality and make pragmatic decisions balancing speed to market and long-term scalability.
- Must be familiar with modern AI coding assistants and understand how to architect codebases navigable and extensible by AI-driven teams.
- Must translate complex architectural trade-offs into clear business impact for stakeholders.
