SR. BUSINESS ANALYST (PROCESS EXCELL.)

Role purpose

Key responsibilities

• Drive the target operating model and continuous improvement, and facilitate timely adoption.
• Support strategic and operational initiatives across the trade lifecycle, from pre-deal through settlements.
• Support transformation and efficiency priorities across market access, people, processes, and systems.
• Help create and prioritise delivery of the QET strategic roadmap to meet department goals and vision.
• Balance operational change priorities through robust change management frameworks.

Required experience and skills

• At least 8 years of commodities-trading experience with leading IOCs, trading houses, NOCs, or vendors in change, process, and technology.
• Hands-on process knowledge, including creating data process maps and operational procedures.
• Front-to-back trade lifecycle experience, with specialisation in an area such as physical trading, cargo growth, or portfolio optimisation.
• End-to-end multidisciplinary knowledge across commodities trading, shipping, and finance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills; enthusiasm for technology and process improvement in commodities trading.

Preferred experience and tools

• LNG experience is an advantage.
• Planlogic EOS, Veson Nautical IMOS, and SAP product knowledge is an advantage; Openlink, Allegro, or Salesforce are preferred alternatives.
• Practical experience with agile frameworks, PMP, or PRINCE2 is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate, finance, or technology subject from an internationally recognised university.
• An MSc, PhD, or MBA is an advantage.
