Sr Analyst - Operations Business Systems

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and integration of terminal systems, airfield systems, and baggage handling systems.
• Define technical and operational requirements aligned with airport strategic goals, safety standards, and future capacity planning.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, and solution providers to meet schedules, scope, performance, and quality benchmarks.
• Oversee daily system performance and reliability for uninterrupted 24/7 functionality.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, incident response protocols, and business continuity strategies.
• Coordinate with AOCC, IT, baggage operations, and airside teams for integrated real-time situational awareness.
• Implement AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics for decision support, passenger-flow optimization, and resource allocation.
• Lead digital transformation using automation, cloud-based architectures, and intelligent systems.
• Ensure interoperability across security, passenger services, baggage, and flight operations systems.
• Lead lifecycle upgrades and migrations and maintain alignment with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Aviation Management; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of airport systems or aviation IT experience, including leadership of large-scale technology implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of terminal systems (CUTE/CUPPS, CUSS, FIDS, BRS, security screening), airfield systems (AODB, RMS, surface movement, surveillance, GMS), and baggage systems (BHS, SCADA, airline DCS and BRS integration).
• Experience designing or implementing AI/ML-enabled systems for data-driven operations.
• Proven track record improving passenger processing, self-service technologies, and biometric integrations.
• Familiarity with aviation standards (IATA, ICAO, ACI) and ITSM frameworks such as ITIL.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; English proficiency is essential and Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 20,000–22,000 per month.
