Role summary
Design, develop, and govern scalable enterprise BI solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and the Azure data ecosystem.
Combine hands-on technical leadership, data modelling and visualization, team mentoring, and stakeholder engagement to deliver secure, high-performing analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Architect BI solutions, semantic models, and reusable datasets; establish development standards for modelling, DAX, Power Query, reports, accessibility, optimization, and documentation.
- Build KPI-aligned dashboards, scorecards, and reports; implement governance, workspaces, deployment pipelines, CI/CD, version control, RLS, and OLS.
- Integrate Azure and enterprise data sources; optimize datasets, calculations, refreshes, and capacity.
- Lead and mentor BI staff, collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics outcomes and self-service BI, and support demonstrations, estimates, proposals, and workshops.
Required experience and skills
- 7–8 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or enterprise reporting, including 4–5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience.
- Advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), dashboard development, visualization, and performance tuning expertise.
- Knowledge of star and snowflake schemas, dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and semantic model design.
- Hands-on SQL, relational database, ETL/ELT, and Azure data ecosystem experience, including Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience governing enterprise BI environments and leading BI projects or development teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, including interaction with senior and C-suite stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications
- Microsoft Power BI or Fabric certification is preferred.
- Experience with Agile delivery, enterprise analytics transformation, or AI-enabled analytics is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 14,000–16,000 per month.
