Role overview

Strategic planning and implementation

• Lead design, deployment, and integration of terminal, airfield, and baggage systems.
• Define technical and operational requirements aligned with airport strategy, safety standards, and future capacity.
• Coordinate stakeholders, consultants, and solution providers to deliver systems on schedule, within scope, and to quality benchmarks.

Operational excellence and technology leadership

• Oversee daily performance and reliability of systems supporting uninterrupted 24/7 operations.
• Maintain SOPs, incident-response protocols, and business-continuity strategies.
• Coordinate AOCC, IT, baggage operations, and airside teams for real-time situational awareness.
• Implement AI/ML, predictive analytics, automation, cloud architectures, and intelligent systems.
• Ensure interoperability across security, passenger services, baggage, and flight operations.
• Lead lifecycle upgrades and migrations aligned with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Aviation Management; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• The description requests 10 years in airport systems or aviation IT, including leadership in large-scale implementations, and separately lists 8 years of aviation experience as required.
• In-depth knowledge of terminal systems (CUTE/CUPPS, CUSS, FIDS, BRS, security screening), airfield systems (AODB, RMS, surface movement, surveillance, GMS), and baggage systems (BHS, SCADA, airline DCS/BRS integration).
• Experience designing or implementing AI/ML systems for data-driven operations.
• Track record in passenger processing, self-service technologies, and biometric integrations.
• Familiarity with IATA, ICAO, ACI, and ITSM frameworks such as ITIL is requested.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills.
• English is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Pay

• AED 20,000–22,000 per month.
