Position overview

Clinical responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and physical examinations for adult patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic internal medicine conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide follow-up and monitor treatment responses.
• Request, interpret, and correlate laboratory and diagnostic investigations when required.
• Manage common chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and respiratory conditions.
• Identify patients needing urgent or specialized care and arrange referrals.
• Coordinate care with other medical specialties.
• Maintain complete medical records in accordance with hospital policies and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment, medication, and preventive healthcare.
• Maintain patient safety, medical ethics, and professional practice standards.

Qualifications and requirements

• A valid DHA license as a Specialist Internal Medicine is required.
• A recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Relevant clinical experience diagnosing and managing adult medical conditions is required.
• UAE professional experience is described as preferred in one line and required in another.
• Candidates need strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• A professional attitude and commitment to patient care and safety are required.
• Good command of English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
