Responsibilities
- Consult, assess, and manage patients undergoing bariatric and metabolic surgery.
- Perform bariatric procedures according to approved clinical standards and hospital protocols.
- Evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively and provide follow-up care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Valid DHA license or DHA eligibility.
- The posting specifies a DHA license as Consultant Bariatric Surgeon and previous professional experience in the UAE.
- Proven experience as a Consultant Bariatric Surgeon.
- Recognized postgraduate qualifications in General Surgery and Bariatric or Metabolic Surgery.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills; commitment to patient safety and professional standards.
- A separate license/certification line lists Consultant Gastroenterologist as required.
