Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe anesthesia care for patients undergoing day surgery procedures.
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia, including vital signs, airway, oxygenation, and circulation.
• Manage pain, postoperative care, recovery monitoring, and handover to the recovery team.
• Recognize and manage anesthesia-related complications and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and patient safety activities.
• Follow DOH requirements, facility policies, clinical protocols, infection control standards, and healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Valid DOH License or DOH Eligibility.
• At least three years of relevant experience as an Anesthesiologist.
• Previous UAE healthcare experience is required.
• Experience in day surgery centers, hospitals, or ambulatory surgical centers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, sedation, airway management, and postoperative recovery.
• Ability to manage anesthesia-related emergencies effectively.
• Strong clinical judgment, patient safety awareness, communication, and teamwork skills.
• English and Arabic speaking ability is preferred.

Compensation

• The posting lists pay of AED 1.00 to AED 5.00 per month.
