Role Summary

As a **Spare Parts Purchaser** in our workshop located in the UAE market, you will play a vital role in managing the procurement of automotive spare parts.

Your responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality parts to support the workshop's service operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers of automotive spare parts.
  • Negotiate favourable terms, prices, and credit arrangements with suppliers.
  • Source and procure high-quality automotive spare parts based on the workshop's needs and specifications.
  • Ensure that all parts meet required quality standards and specifications.
  • Negotiate prices and discounts with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to ensure competitiveness.
  • Process purchase orders accurately, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Collaborate with the storekeeper and service team to maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts.
  • Implement efficient inventory replenishment strategies to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure that all procured spare parts meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.
  • Generate reports on purchasing activities and cost analyses.
  • Regularly evaluate the performance of suppliers based on factors such as delivery timeliness, quality of parts, and adherence to contractual terms.
  • Provide feedback to suppliers and work collaboratively to address any issues.
  • Stay informed about market trends, new products, and developments in the automotive spare parts industry.
  • Identify potential new suppliers and products to diversify the supplier base.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in the procurement process.
  • Uphold ethical practices and transparency in all interactions with suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a spare parts purchaser in an automotive workshop, preferably in the UAE market.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, their specifications, and quality standards.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.
  • Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
