The Spa Receptionist delivers professional and consistent spa reception services in line with Leading Quality Assurance standards and reception procedures.
The role supports guest satisfaction and helps the Spa team meet daily, monthly, and annual sales targets.
Guest reception and bookings
- Welcome guests, determine the services they need, and respond promptly and professionally to issues.
- Book treatments accurately and within suitable time frames.
- Explain available spa offers, treatments, programs, and products; recommend suitable treatments or alternatives.
Payments and administration
- Bill treatments, retail products, and food and beverage where available, using applicable payment methods.
- Complete reports, forms, and checklists; keep reception supplies replenished and the desk clean and staffed.
Sales and spa operations
- Drive treatment and retail sales and meet targets for promotions and treatment launches.
- Assist with therapist space and rota management, treatment-room setup, amenity replenishment, and guest use of spa facilities.
- Monitor spa facilities and service processes and keep senior spa staff informed of issues.
Standards and teamwork
- Coordinate with therapists, managers, and related departments; participate in regular training and Spa meetings.
- Follow hotel fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies and spa hygiene and sterilization procedures.
- Maintain professional conduct, personal grooming, attention to detail, and prompt service in accordance with LQA standards.
Experience and capabilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills and people-management experience.
- Strong customer-service orientation; highly organized and proactive, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management, presentation, attention-to-detail, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Initiative and commitment to achieve.
