Solution Architect for a banking client in the UAE, supporting digital transformation and system integration initiatives.
Contract duration is 6 months, extendable.
The role designs scalable, secure and reliable technology solutions for banking applications and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technology solutions for banking applications and platforms.
- Develop architectures covering APIs, microservices, databases and system integrations.
- Work on core banking, payments, digital banking and other enterprise banking systems.
- Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, infrastructure teams and stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend architecture improvements.
- Support technology migrations and implementation projects.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in solution architecture.
- Previous experience working in banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of core banking systems, payments and digital banking platforms.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, databases and integration technologies.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and security standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.
