A leading UAE bank is strengthening technology risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.
This hands-on consultant role works directly with technology teams to assess risks, test controls, and close audit findings.
Location: Dubai, UAE. Contract: 6 months, extendable.
What you’ll do
- Identify, assess, and report technology and information security risks across the bank.
- Test IT general controls and technology controls, and track issues through to closure.
- Lead or support remediation of internal audit, external audit, and regulatory findings.
- Assess third-party and vendor technology risk, including cloud and outsourcing arrangements.
- Help the bank meet UAE Central Bank technology, cybersecurity, and outsourcing requirements.
- Support operational resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain risk registers, policies, and standards, and present clear updates to senior stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- At least 6 years of experience in technology risk, IT audit, GRC, or cybersecurity compliance.
- Experience in a bank, financial institution, or Big 4/consulting firm serving banks.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITGC, and PCI DSS frameworks.
- Experience working with banking regulators; CBUAE is ideal, and SAMA or other GCC regulators are also welcomed.
- Hands-on experience with RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC, or OneTrust is a plus.
- CISA, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certifications are preferred.
