Senior Cloud Security & DevSecOps Engineer contract role in a regulated banking environment.
Six-month contract based in Dubai, securing cloud platforms, applications, and CI/CD pipelines through hands-on implementation with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Azure and/or AWS security controls, including IAM, least privilege, encryption, secrets management, and monitoring.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, and container scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Secure Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform-based infrastructure.
- Work alongside development teams to fix application, API, and dependency vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews.
Essential requirements
- 8+ years of IT or security experience, including 4+ years in cloud security or DevSecOps.
- Hands-on cloud security experience with Azure and/or AWS; proven production CI/CD DevSecOps implementation.
- Strong Kubernetes, Docker, and container security skills; Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code experience.
- Knowledge of IAM/RBAC, encryption, secrets management, API security, and OWASP.
- Banking or financial services experience.
