Role overview
Design the architecture for a new ERP application built from scratch for a market-leading SaaS company.
The application will be a scalable, multi-tenant enterprise system integrated with the company's existing SaaS products and shared platform services.
The position is remote in Canada and is a contract of at least six months, with possible extension.
Responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for the new enterprise ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the ERP and the existing SaaS product portfolio.
- Use shared backend services such as unified login, identity and access management, and core data routing.
- Define AWS cloud and application architecture for high availability, performance, and strict multi-tenant data isolation.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled developers to establish technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native AWS solutions.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise multi-tenant SaaS systems.
Candidate profile
- Portfolio of projects defining the architecture of a complex SaaS platform from a blank slate.
- Adaptable, hands-on, pragmatic approach balancing speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and understanding of codebases that AI-driven teams can navigate and extend.
- Ability to communicate architectural trade-offs in terms of business impact.
Work arrangement
- Remote in Canada.
