Role overview
Lead technical design of a new ERP application built entirely from scratch for a market-leading SaaS company.
Design a scalable, multi-tenant enterprise system integrated with the company’s existing SaaS products.
Work with an AI-first engineering team and leverage shared platform services such as unified login, authentication, and core data routing.
Location and contract
- Remote role in Canada.
- Contract for 6+ months, with possible extension.
Key responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for a zero-to-one enterprise ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the new ERP and existing SaaS products.
- Use shared backend services for identity/access management, data routing, and related capabilities.
- Define AWS architecture for high availability, performance, and strict multi-tenant data isolation.
- Partner with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled development team on technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET/C# and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive cloud-native solution design experience in AWS.
- Experience managing NuGet repositories and internal package sharing.
- Proven enterprise multi-tenant SaaS system design experience; this is a strict must-have.
Candidate profile
- Must have defined complex SaaS platform architecture from a blank slate.
- Adaptable, hands-on, and pragmatic, balancing speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and understanding of codebases suited to AI-driven development teams.
- Able to communicate architectural trade-offs as clear business impact for stakeholders.
