Role overview
Lead technical design for a new enterprise ERP application built from scratch and integrated with an existing SaaS product suite.
The system is intended to be scalable, multi-tenant, and developed with an AI-first engineering team.
Key responsibilities
- Own high-level and low-level technical design for the ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the new ERP and the existing SaaS product portfolio.
- Architect solutions that use shared backend services, including identity and access management and data routing.
- Define AWS architecture for high availability, performance, and strict data isolation across tenants.
- Establish technical standards, code-generation patterns, and architectural guardrails with engineering.
- Shape the architecture of the new .NET and Angular codebase.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in the .NET (C#) ecosystem and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions in AWS.
- Experience managing NuGet repositories and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise, multi-tenant SaaS systems.
Candidate profile
- Must have defined architecture for a complex SaaS platform from a blank slate.
- Must be adaptable and hands-on, making pragmatic decisions that balance speed to market and long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and architecture suited to AI-driven development teams is required as a stated candidate preference.
- Able to translate architectural trade-offs into clear business impact for stakeholders.
Workplace and contract
- Remote role based in Canada.
- Contract for six or more months, with a possible extension.
