Role overview
Design the architecture for a new ERP application built from scratch at a SaaS company.
The application will be a scalable, multi-tenant enterprise system integrated with the company's existing SaaS products.
Define how the product uses shared platform services and the AWS infrastructure and application architecture for a .NET/Angular codebase.
Responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for the new enterprise ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the ERP and the existing SaaS product portfolio.
- Use existing shared backend services, including unified login, authentication, and core data routing.
- Define AWS cloud architecture for availability, performance, and strict data isolation across multi-tenant enterprise clients.
- Work with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled team to establish technical standards, code generation patterns, and architectural guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET (C#) and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular.
- Extensive experience designing cloud-native solutions in AWS.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven track record designing enterprise, multi-tenant SaaS systems; this is a strict must-have.
Candidate profile
- Must have defined the architecture for a complex SaaS platform from a blank slate.
- Must be adaptable and hands-on, making pragmatic decisions that balance speed to market and long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and designing codebases that AI-driven teams can navigate and extend.
- Ability to translate architectural trade-offs into clear business impact for stakeholders.
Location and work arrangement
- Remote in Canada.
Contract
- Contract for six or more months, with possible extension.
