Solution Architect role for a six-month-plus contract with possible extension.
Design the technical architecture for a new enterprise ERP application built from scratch for a SaaS company.
The product will integrate with existing SaaS products and shared platform services.
Location
- The position is remote in Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level technical design for the new ERP application.
- Design secure integration patterns between the ERP and existing SaaS products.
- Use shared backend services such as unified login, identity/access management, and core data routing.
- Define AWS architecture for availability, performance, and strict multi-tenant data isolation.
- Work with the Engineering Manager and AI-enabled team to establish standards, code-generation patterns, and architecture guardrails.
Technical requirements
- Deep expertise in .NET/C# and microservices architecture.
- Strong architectural understanding of Angular and extensive AWS cloud-native design experience.
- Experience with NuGet repository management and internal package sharing.
- Proven experience designing enterprise multi-tenant SaaS systems is a strict must-have.
- Must have designed a complex SaaS platform architecture from a blank slate.
Candidate profile
- Adaptable, hands-on, pragmatic approach that balances speed to market with long-term scalability.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and architecture suited to AI-driven development teams.
- Ability to translate architectural trade-offs into business impact for stakeholders.
