Role overview

Social Media Executive role focused on social content, community engagement, online reputation, and reporting.

The position supports the group's hotel, dining, and nightlife brand presence across social platforms.

Candidate qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of, familiarity with, and interest in social media.
  • Previous TikTok and YouTube content creation experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; proactive, hands-on approach and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and social media platforms.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as hotel requirements dictate.

Content and community

  • Create, curate, and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms.
  • Write brand-appropriate copy and produce content highlighting dining, nightlife, and promotions.
  • Maintain consistent brand tone, style, messaging, grammar, and accuracy across platforms.
  • Engage with the online community, address guest concerns, and respond to comments, questions, and reviews.
  • Manage posting schedules and monitor online review platforms, responding promptly and appropriately.

Performance and events

  • Track and analyze social media metrics and prepare performance reports.
  • Capture video during photoshoots, events, and activations for social media stories.
  • Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging digital marketing technologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and execute new event concepts.

Schedule

  • The role may require a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel requirements.
