Role overview
Supervise mechanical construction works, including HVAC systems, plumbing, drainage, firefighting networks, and central plant utilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise HVAC equipment installation, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ductwork, as well as plumbing and drainage.
- Inspect firefighting piping, sprinkler networks, hydrants, and fire pump installations.
- Witness hydrostatic pressure tests, air balancing, and mechanical system commissioning.
- Review contractor submittals, vendor data, and coordinated MEP layout drawings.
- Ensure compliance with site health, safety, and fire protection codes.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of relevant mechanical site supervision or field mechanical experience.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and international mechanical codes.
- Ability to inspect, review, and approve complex mechanical site installations.
