Role summary
Part-time Planning Engineer role managing baseline project scheduling, tracking progress against milestones, conducting delay analysis, and preparing executive reporting dashboards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and update the baseline project schedule using Primavera P6.
- Compare planned and actual progress, identify critical path variances, and highlight potential delay risks.
- Evaluate contractor Extension of Time claims and provide technical delay assessments.
- Prepare monthly and weekly progress reports, S-curves, and manpower histograms.
- Conduct periodic site visits to independently verify physical execution milestones.
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- At least eight years of project planning, scheduling, and delay analysis experience.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Excel, including cash flow, S-curves, and resource loading.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to present clear executive schedule dashboards.
