  • The role is site-based at the Lower Thames Crossing compound in Grays, Essex, five days per week.
  • The engineer may support utility works at multiple project locations as the programme progresses.

What you’ll do

  • Support delivery of multi-utility diversions and translate designs, technical information and construction drawings into site operations.
  • Set out work, coordinate subcontractors and supervise daily site activities across multiple work fronts.

Who they’re looking for

  • Experience delivering utility diversion, utility infrastructure or major infrastructure projects involving utility assets.
  • Understanding of construction activities involving electricity, gas, water, wastewater or telecommunications networks.
  • Experience setting out and delivering engineering works on live sites and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of construction health, safety and environmental requirements and experience with RAMS and safe systems of work.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, commercial awareness, and understanding of cost control and programme management.
  • HNC, HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience; full UK driving licence.

Benefits
