Support and improve risk management systems, data and reporting capabilities.
Work with Group Risk, business risk champions and IT development teams to help the business understand risk exposure.
The successful candidate may be based in London, Newcastle or Motherwell.
Responsibilities
- Act as an interface between Group Risk and IT Development, supporting requirements clarification, issue resolution, testing and prioritisation of enhancements.
- Maintain and improve monthly risk reporting for stakeholders and business risk champions.
- Support development of the Risk Library and improve understanding of core and common risks.
- Analyse realised risk data to identify patterns, future exposure and opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
- Identify emerging risk trends for half-year and full-year reporting and maintain the Group Risk Profile.
- Support continuous improvement of Key Risk Indicators.
Requirements
- Experience supporting business systems or applications, including requirements analysis, issue investigation and user acceptance testing.
- Power BI and SQL experience for analysis and reporting is desirable.
- Strong data analysis, reporting, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of risk management principles in a business environment.
- Passing a BPSS check is essential.
