The Site Engineer oversees and coordinates construction work on site, including mechanical and civil construction and maintenance activities.
The role requires remaining at the work site during work activities and following ADNOC procedures.
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction work to meet project plans, specifications, timelines, quality standards, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, site teams, and other stakeholders.
- Inspect progress, quality, safety, and compliance with local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements.
- Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications; supervise workers and subcontractors and enforce site safety protocols.
- Maintain daily progress, material, and labor records; communicate milestones, risks, and delays to stakeholders.
- Resolve construction issues with project teams; monitor costs, budgets, contractual issues, and potential claims.
- Coordinate mechanical and civil construction and maintenance work and construction material requests with purchase and accounts teams.
- Follow ADNOC procedures and submit permits and certificates in advance; attach TRA/JSA, display permit copies, and close permits after work.
- Keep work sites clean, clear, and safe when work is completed or suspended; contribute to improved construction practices.

- Work location is in person; the role requires presence at the work site for the duration of work activities.
- Work sites must be left clean, clear, and safe upon completion or suspension of work.
Pay
- Pay is listed as AED 2,394.90–5,000.00 per month.
