Role overview

CSCEC Middle East is recruiting Site Civil Engineers for its construction team on a large-scale project in Dubai.

The role covers daily site construction activity and coordination using approved drawings and materials.

Site construction and coordination

  • Coordinate daily construction activities with the project manager, construction manager, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant departments.
  • Review method statements with the construction manager and obtain consultant approval before work execution.
  • Supervise general foremen and foremen and support their work.
  • Review drawings against site conditions and communicate requirements to the execution team.
  • Coordinate civil work with MEP activities and provide regular feedback to the construction manager.

Materials, inspections, and reporting

  • Prepare material requests and ensure timely delivery; receive and check materials against requests and purchase orders.
  • Perform engineering calculations and civil design analysis to solve problems.
  • Prepare inspection test requests for activities.
  • Monitor daily site activities and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
  • Monitor the store and material issuance.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction projects.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in high-rise or large-scale projects is listed as preferred in the qualifications section.

  • The role is for a construction project in Dubai.
