Site inspection and quality duties
- Inspect architectural works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor finishes including flooring, tiling, plastering, painting, ceilings, partitions, doors, windows, façades, and waterproofing.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements; inspect delivered materials against approved submissions and specifications.
- Review and respond to WIRs and MIRs; identify defects and non-compliance, coordinate corrective action, and assist with NCRs and site observation reports.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and other disciplines; monitor contractor progress and report delays or discrepancies.
- Attend site and quality meetings; support snagging, de-snagging, testing and commissioning interfaces, and final handover inspections.
- Maintain inspection records, documentation, and progress reports.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in architectural site inspection or construction supervision.
- Previous experience with an architectural or engineering consultancy is preferred.
- Previous UAE construction project experience is highly preferred.
Technical qualifications
- Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, construction methodologies, materials, and quality control procedures.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE building codes, and relevant authority requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant technical software.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and commitment to quality.
