VX Studio Consultancy is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Document Controller for its multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy.
The role manages project and company documentation and supports accurate, compliant document flow between internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing project documents, drawings, and correspondence.
- Register, distribute, and archive documents according to company procedures; keep documents filed, updated, and accessible.
- Track revisions and maintain version control.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients on document submissions.
- Prepare transmittals for drawings, reports, RFIs, and technical documents.
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems and monitor submission deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Generate periodic document-status and outstanding-submission reports.
- Support project teams with administrative and documentation requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2–5 years of Document Controller experience; engineering consultancy, construction, or architecture experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures and records management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills; ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and maintain accuracy.

- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
