The in-house developer will work on the company’s storefronts and selected client brands alongside design, branding, and marketing teams.
Role overview
The employer seeks a skilled, reliable, detail-oriented Shopify Web Developer with mandatory practical AI knowledge and experience.
The role develops, maintains, and optimizes online stores and uses AI tools in relevant development and operational workflows.
Development and optimization
- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Customize themes and turn Figma or similar mockups into responsive functional websites.
- Optimize speed, mobile responsiveness, user experience, SEO, and conversion performance.
Integrations, AI, and maintenance
- Integrate and maintain third-party Shopify apps, payment gateways, CRM systems, and other services.
- Identify and implement appropriate AI-powered tools and integrations for development, content, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues; maintain stability, backups, version control, and appropriate security practices; monitor performance and recommend improvements.
Brand collaboration
- Collaborate with design and brand teams to keep the luxury brand presentation consistent across online storefronts.
Technical qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience developing and managing Shopify stores; strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Practical knowledge and experience using AI tools, systems, or software is mandatory; candidates must be able to explain tools, tasks, and results from prior projects.
- Familiarity with responsive design, mobile-first UX, SEO fundamentals, and e-commerce conversion practices.
- Understanding of third-party integrations, APIs, and workflow automation is an advantage.
Additional qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, initiative, and time management.
- A portfolio demonstrating Shopify websites and relevant development projects.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,500–AED 4,500 per month.
