Technical leadership and delivery
- Drive technical strategy and project objectives to exceed customer expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Lead resolution of complex technical design and construction issues and ensure optimized solutions.
- Manage multiple technical workstreams for coordinated, timely, efficient delivery.
- Promote effective technical tools, systems, methodologies, and innovative project solutions.
Stakeholders, governance, and performance
- Maintain working relationships with clients, consultants, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Act as senior technical interface for approvals, coordination, and compliance.
- Keep deliverables within approved staffing budgets; optimize resource allocation, productivity, and cost.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, technical standards, and regulatory requirements; identify and mitigate project risks.
People leadership
- Lead, mentor, direct, and oversee the performance of the project technical team.
- Improve team performance through structured planning, clear workflows, and efficient practices.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Experience and education
- 10 years of total experience and eight years in a relevant supervisory position.
- Five years of GCC experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Professional qualification in a related field or a related technical certificate.
Knowledge and skills
- Practical experience preparing detailed method statements.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of material engineering properties and local and global availability.
- Technical ability to organize and oversee preparation of technical drawings.
- Knowledge of project management and ERP; SAP functional skills are stated as a requirement, with SAP described as preferred.
