Senior Structural Engineer role covering structural engineering, architectural coordination, and site construction.
The ideal candidate has experience with high-end residential villas, commercial buildings, and/or high-rise projects, from design coordination through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
- Conduct site inspections and check compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, Qatar regulations, and engineering codes.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
- Resolve site technical issues with consultants, contractors, architects, and MEP teams.
- Monitor construction quality, workmanship, progress, and structural and architectural coordination.
- Provide technical guidance and prepare inspection reports and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience; 10 or more years is preferred.
- Strong hands-on site and construction experience, with experience in residential villas, commercial buildings, and/or high-rise projects.
- AutoCAD proficiency required; Revit and structural design software are advantageous.
- Knowledge of Qatar construction regulations and international engineering standards.
- Valid Qatar ID and UPDA/MMUP certification are mandatory.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required; a valid Qatar driving licence is preferred.
