Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of barista experience is required.
- Proven specialty coffee experience is required; conventional or commercial coffee experience alone is not sufficient.
- Experience with cashier operations and POS systems is required.
- Skilled in espresso calibration, dialing in, and grinder adjustment.
- Proficient in milk steaming and consistent latte art.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee workflows and quality control to ensure drink consistency.
- Basic filter coffee preparation skills, particularly V60.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks, including espresso and filter coffee.
- Calibrate espresso, dial in coffee, and adjust grinders to support drink quality.
- Steam milk and prepare consistent latte art.
- Use cashier operations and POS systems.
- Maintain drink consistency through specialty coffee workflows and quality control.
- Provide attentive customer service.
