Pipeline initiative coordination
- Guide business stakeholders through the VRO approval process from initial idea through investment decision.
- Assess strategic problems or opportunities, desired outcomes, scope, dependencies, and delivery considerations.
- Coordinate and review input from business, Finance, IT delivery, and subject-matter experts.
- Check submissions for quality, strategic alignment, value realization, and operational and governance readiness.
- Resolve ambiguity and reconcile competing stakeholder perspectives.
Business cases and requirements
- Lead business cases and CBAs; evaluate options, costs, benefits, risks, assumptions, and delivery implications.
- Prepare evidence-based recommendations and decision materials for senior governance forums.
- Facilitate discovery and translate strategic needs into prioritized, testable requirements without prescribing a technology solution.
- Map and trace requirements to Human Capital capabilities, operating-model components, portfolio priorities, investment decisions, and benefits.
- Identify overlaps, gaps, dependencies, and reuse opportunities; facilitate handoff to product teams during mobilization.
Value and portfolio support
- Define measurable outcomes, benefit hypotheses, baselines, targets, and success measures with business stakeholders.
- Support Programme Managers in embedding value measures in programme plans and governance.
- Review whether delivered outcomes remain aligned to approved business cases and provide insight into portfolio performance and risks.
- Advise portfolio and programme leaders, facilitate agreement across differing priorities, and connect related initiatives.
- Coach stakeholders and junior analysts and improve VRO templates, standards, and guidance using lessons learned.
Skills and experience
- Strong experience in business strategy, portfolio analysis, business analysis, or organizational transformation.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex business cases, CBAs, or investment proposals.
