Role overview
Advise large global and corporate clients on specialist aviation insurance solutions and insights.
Drive new business and growth while managing complex aviation accounts.
Collaborate with colleagues across Aon's branch network and international markets.
Key responsibilities
- Generate aviation new business directly and through the branch network.
- Provide aviation risk insights and specialist advice to large global and corporate clients.
- Develop renewal strategies for complex aviation programs and manage specialty renewals and new business through key client meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with London and international insurers.
- Produce aviation market research, analysis, and updates for clients and the network.
- Develop aviation pipeline and team growth strategies and support increased branch revenue in untapped areas.
- Manage and train ACS support staff.
- Manage specialist aviation clients and stakeholder relationships; identify portfolio opportunities and design servicing solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
Skills and experience
- Strong experience in aviation insurance, including management of complex aviation programs and specialist clients.
- Proven success developing profitable business and managing a sustainable pipeline.
- Ability to develop and execute renewal and servicing strategies that enhance client experience.
- Relationship management experience across internal networks, senior stakeholders, and international insurance markets, including London.
- Leadership capability, including coaching support staff and contributing to team and business strategy.
