Job Description
The role supports HPE Hybrid Cloud and the GreenLake next-generation cloud platform, including its technology roadmap, design, development, and product portfolio.
The position focuses on software quality engineering, test automation, system engineering, and storage-related testing.
Responsibilities
- Apply software testing methodology across test strategy, planning, execution, and automation.
- Own automation strategy and tools required to enhance the test automation framework.
- Use Python, AI workflows, and AI tools in software quality activities.
- Perform functional, regression, scale, and other software testing activities.
- Troubleshoot issues and collaborate across a geographically distributed cross-functional team.
- Use Jira, Confluence, and related software and participate hands-on in Agile Scrum.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
- Typically eight or more years of experience.
- Hands-on AI-based SDLC experience is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong system engineering knowledge, troubleshooting ability, and analytical skills.
- Storage domain knowledge covering block, file, and object storage.
- Knowledge of file systems, protocols, data-path testing, and networking concepts.
- Experience with Python automation, Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git or GitLab, Jenkins, and Linux or virtual machine environments.
