Senior Software Engineer- Python Developer-React JS Full stack

Role Overview

Work Arrangement

• The role is hybrid and follows a 1 PM to 10 PM shift.
• The main locations are Bangalore and Chennai.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in full-stack application development is required.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or higher, with at least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade web applications is required.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are required.

Required Technical Skills

• Required front-end skills include ReactJS, preferably React 19, Next.js, TypeScript, responsive web development, JavaScript ES6+, and Material UI or similar component libraries.
• Required back-end skills include Python development and REST API integration.
• Required cloud and tooling skills include AWS development experience and Git version control.
• Required testing skills include unit testing, automated testing frameworks, and test-driven development practices.

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, high-performing web applications.
• Build front-end solutions using ReactJS, React 19, Next.js, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Develop robust back-end services and APIs using Python.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and external services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following engineering best practices.

Full-Stack Engineering

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with architects, product owners, and UX designers.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end, back-end, and cloud components.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and security.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Cloud, DevOps, and Quality

• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Use CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Write automated, unit, and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cloud-native applications and modernizing legacy applications to React-based architectures is preferred.
• Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications using Python is preferred.
• Experience with globally distributed teams is preferred.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Azure services, API security, and Agile/Scrum is advantageous.
