Role Overview

Senior individual contributor role validating customer-focused networking solutions through system-level testing, automation, and certification.

Works across Service Provider and Cloud networking environments to improve product quality, scalability, performance, and deployment readiness.

Workplace

  • The role is designed as onsite, with an expectation of primarily working from an HPE office.

What You Will Do

  • Perform feature, scale, migration, performance, and end-to-end solution validation.
  • Analyze customer architectures, network topologies, and technical requirements.
  • Define test coverage with engineering, sales, field, product, and customer teams.
  • Design, develop, and execute system-level and solution-level test plans.
  • Build and maintain test labs representing customer deployments.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Junos/EVO routers, switches, and networking devices.
  • Develop automation scripts with Python, Robot Framework, Perl, or similar technologies.
  • Execute automated and manual interoperability, performance, feature, and scale tests.
  • Analyze results, identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects with development teams.
  • Use Ixia, Spirent, and similar traffic generation and validation tools.
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, status updates, and customer presentations.
  • Improve testing methods, automation frameworks, validation processes, and AI-powered testing.

What You Need to Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 10–15 or more years of relevant networking, testing, or solution validation experience.
  • Experience with Service Provider, Cloud, Core, or Edge networking environments.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale deployments, system testing, and customer solution validation.
  • Experience developing automation with Python and/or Robot Framework.
  • Experience with Ixia and Spirent or similar network testing platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP, L2VPN/L3VPN, VLAN, and QoS.
  • Ability to analyze architectures, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer-facing technical experience is preferred.
  • Prior Juniper Junos/EVO experience is highly desirable.
  • JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven automation, AI agents, and AI-powered testing tools is desirable.
