Opportunity overview

The role supports a wealth-management modernization program across application environments, CI/CD workflows, automation, and deployment readiness.

It combines systems administration, environment engineering, DevOps support, and issue investigation across production and non-production environments.

Environment and system support

  • Manage and support Chorus environments across Windows servers; perform administration such as log analysis, service management, scheduled tasks, permissions, and resource monitoring.
  • Coordinate dependency checks, configuration alignment, deployment validation, and data refreshes to prepare environments.
  • Diagnose DNS, routing, port connectivity, firewall, load-balancer, and certificate issues.
  • Support SFTP, SSH, key-based authentication, and automated file-transfer workflows.

CI/CD and application support

  • Support, configure, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines, primarily Jenkins, and contribute automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Work with Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus IQ/Lifecycle, and ServiceNow; assist with releases, deployment frameworks, and change and incident management.
  • Support Chorus application and web servers including IIS, JBoss, and Apache; analyse logs and trace failures across environments.
  • Work with APIs, service endpoints, authentication flows, and service-to-service communication; investigate root causes across environment, configuration, dependency, infrastructure, and data.
  • Test bug fixes and assist with production deployments.

Monitoring and collaboration

  • Use Elastic and Dynatrace to investigate performance and integration issues; diagnose certificate failures, trust-chain issues, and authentication misconfigurations.
  • Collaborate with Developers, QAs, BAs, Architects, and platform and infrastructure teams to deliver Workflow solutions.
  • Support client-facing workshops and explain technical changes to non-technical and business stakeholders; work with testers to ensure quality.
  • Contribute to process improvement and reliability initiatives and maintain environment diagrams, runbooks, and change-impact assessments.

Essential experience and skills

  • Mid-level system administration experience across Windows Server and Linux; CI/CD experience including Jenkins and automated deployments.
  • Experience with Workflow and the Chorus application, including Chorus or Workflow Development.
  • Scripting proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python; programming and database competency in C#, Python, MS SQL, or Oracle SQL.
  • Strong understanding of operating-system internals, logs and service management, scheduled tasks or cron, permissions and access models, and resource monitoring.
  • Experience with application workflows, Model Analysis, and Administration workspace; knowledge of Analytics (Chorus Reporting).
