Role overview

The Client Change Lead supports planning, coordination, and delivery of client initiatives within the Transfer Agency function.

The role drives operational and client-facing change from requirements gathering and analysis through implementation, adoption, and sustainable change management.

Success is measured by timely, accurate delivery, effective stakeholder and client relationships, and positive feedback on communication and outcomes.

Workplace and benefits

  • The role offers a hybrid work model.
  • Benefits include income protection insurance, flexible time off, private health insurance discounts, paid parental leave, death and TPD insurance, training, and discounts on fitness clubs and travel.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business and client change initiatives aligned with strategy, client commitments, and regulatory requirements, partnering across Transfer Agency Operations, Client Experience, and Line 1 Risk.
  • Define objectives, scope, deliverables, success measures, requirements, operational impacts, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Manage the full initiative lifecycle, applying change methods and governance frameworks from discovery and planning through implementation, transition, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage plans, timelines, milestones, resources, deliverables, progress, scope changes, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Collaborate with clients, fund managers, custodians, third-party providers, and internal teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, decisions, and insights; build relationships and support adoption through guidance, training, and engagement.
  • Ensure governance, risk, compliance, audit, and quality assurance requirements; manage risks and issues and conduct quality reviews.
  • Maintain audit and governance documentation, templates, procedures, and process artefacts; coordinate configuration changes across Core Registry, Statements, Documents, and Forms.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support throughout the change lifecycle.

What you will bring

  • At least 8 years of financial services experience, including at least 5 years in Unit Registry, Fund Administration, Custody, or related Asset Servicing.
  • Strong knowledge of Transfer Agency, registry, custody, and fund administration operations and the end-to-end investor servicing lifecycle.
  • Experience leading or supporting fund launches, closures, transitions, client onboarding, regulatory change, or operational transformation.
  • Experience with project delivery, change management, governance frameworks, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, client relationship, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate specialist teams, navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and controls.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency for data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and operational decision support.
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification or exposure is highly regarded; Jira, Trust Architect, or similar workflow, registry, or change platforms are also highly regarded.
